I see you already know about this with wild cherries, yet we do make in in Belgium only with "normal cherries" : tastes less bitter and we don't "drink" it, we spoon it up.

Also very delicious over icecream :-)

Skinny Cook, over ice cream sounds great! Thanks for the tip. Cherries are crazy expensive here so I can't really see myself making real cherry liqueur. Maybe on my next visit home to Canada?
